Dive Goa is a diveshop and
training centre established by Ajey Patil - marine engineer,
naturalist, raconteur and PADI certified dive instructor. Dive Goa

Goa offers the easiest access to diving in India.With 15 years of
diving and teaching experience in Thailand, Lakshadweep, the Andaman
islands, Ajey chose Goa as his base because of its perfect blend of
warm safe waters, pristine landscape and vibrant culture.
Dive Goa offers a range of PADI certification courses,
all run by international standards of expertise, equipment and safety.
The warm, safe waters of the Arabian sea, and the easy dive sites make
Goa an ideal destination for beginners to learn scuba diving and
seasoned recreational divers enjoy the challenge and mystery of less
than perfect visibility!
The Dive Season in India starts in
October and ends in May. The water temperatures are in the 27 to 30
degree range. The marine life in Goa is rich in variety. There are
sites with coral, rocky pinnacles and shipwrecks to dive.
The dives are in the 10 to 15m range. The visibility varies between 5
to 10m over the season.
For those of you looking for clearer waters, we organize Dive
expeditions to Netrani Island (also known
as Pigeon Island) in Karnataka, which has
15 to 20m visibility. Netrani is easily the best diving on the west
coast of India that is easily reachable from Goa, Bangalore or Mumbai.
Dive expeditions to Vengurla Rocks in
Maharashtra are another option. The sites are slightly deeper than Goa,
and are teeming with large schools of fish. This is an area that is
still being explored, you'll be among the first divers diving here ...
which means you get to name dive sites! There are several wrecks we
have heard of that we intend to find this season.
