For those who want to dive in clear waters, Dive Goa organizes trips to Netrani (also known as Pigeon Island), 220 km south of Goa. Netrani Island is about 10 nautical miles off shore from the small fishing village of Murudeshwar. Murudeshwar's skyline is dominated by a spectacular 36 metre-high monumental statue of Shiva.

The clear waters and rich marine life around the island make for superlative diving - Visibility around the island is usually in the 15-20 metre range. The dive sites are from 10 to 30 metre deep, and consist of coral reefs on the eastern side of the island and rock walls on the west and north western side of the island. Expect to mingle with schools of Barracuda, Jacks, Snappers, Red tooth trigger fish, Indian Banner fish, large shark- like Cobia, Groupers, Honeycomb Moray Eels, Puffer fish, Napoleon Wrasse.

After the day's diving, you can take a short walk to Sunset Point, or enjoy a quiet sunset from the balcony of your room overlooking the sea.

Due to recently imposed security restrictions, official permits need to be arranged for diving at the island. Divers booking for the trip will need to provide us with their names and passport numbers, and will need to carry their passports with them. Indian citizens will need to provide details of any government photo identity card such as driving license, which they will need to carry along with them.

All trips to Netrani require a minimum of 2 divers.

The package price includes rental of all dive equipment, breakfast, snacks and water on dive boat, boat charges, travel from and to Goa and accommodation on a twin share basis. The package price does not include dinner. You can choose between:

4 DIVE PACKAGE: Day 1 We leave by train from Madgaon Station at 2:00 pm, reach Murudeshwar at 6:30pm. Night at hotel.
Day 2 Leave for dives 1 & 2 at 8:30 am, return at 2:30 pm. Evening temple trip. Night at hotel
Day 3 Leave for dives 3 & 4 at 8:30 am, return at 2:00 pm. Shower, lunch, departure for Goa. Reach Goa by 9:00 pm.

OPEN WATER COURSE

Day 1 Theory modules 1,2 & 3 and pool sessions 1 & 2 in Goa.
Day 2 Theory modules 4 & 5 and pool sessions 3 & 4 in Goa. Leave for Murudeshwar at 2:00 pm and arrive at 8:00 pm. Night stay at hotel.
Day 3 Dives 1 & 2 at Netrani. Night stay at hotel.
Day 4 Dives 3 & 4 at Netrani, return by 2:00 pm. Shower, lunch, departure for Goa. Reach Goa by 9:00 pm.

Price: INR 22,000 per head.

ADVANCED OPEN WATER COURSE

Day 1 Leave by train from Verna Station at 2:00 pm, reach Murudeshwar at 6:30pm. Night at hotel.
Day 2 Leave for dives 1, 2 & 3 at 8:30 am. Return at 3:00 pm. Night stay at hotel.
Day 3 Leave for dives 4 & 5 at 8:30 am. Return at 2:00 pm. Shower, lunch, departure for Goa. Reach Goa by 9:00 pm.

Price: INR 19,000 per head.

All course prices are inclusive of training manuals and certification card charges. A minimum of 2 divers is required to do the course at Netrani.
